Birdwalk at FW Kent Park 8 7 19

8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

2 other birders joined me on this beautiful morning.   We walked about 1.0 mile.   It was hot and very humid but better birding than last trip.

24 species: Wood Duck  11, Mourning Dove  4, Black-billed Cuckoo 1, Red-headed Woodpecker  4, Red-bellied Woodpecker  1, Downy Woodpecker  1, Northern Flicker  1, Eastern Wood-Pewee  4, Eastern Kingbird  2, Yellow-throated Vireo  1, Black-capped Chickadee  2, Tufted Titmouse  2, White-breasted Nuthatch  1, Gray Catbird  7, Eastern Bluebird  4, American Robin  3, American Goldfinch  1, Eastern Towhee  1, Baltimore Oriole  1, Brown-headed Cowbird  X, Common Yellowthroat  3, American Redstart  1, Northern Cardinal  3, Rose-breasted Grosbeak  4, and Indigo Bunting  5.

Probably the best bird was the Cuckoo.
