We’ve Come a Long Way

I have resided in Johnson County since 1971 and have hiked or camped in many of our beautiful parks and natural areas.  Nearly thirty years ago I served on the JCCB and was part of the board that hired Johnson County's first naturalist.  We've come a long way and it would not have been possible without the passionate leadership and service of our dedicated JCCB staff and volunteers through the years!  I am thrilled with our recent trail development and acquisitions that further increase our presence throughout the entire county.
