Today’s birds contained no real prizes except for the heard only Wood Thrushes. Plants, which make up all of todays photos are still wonderful at Kent P. We birded and looked at plants on the E side — a 1 mile hike in and out without many hills and much sun.
The plants are gorgeous at Kent Park are just gorgeous.
Have you ever notice the how Purple Coneflowers vary in color. I keep forgetting to carefully observe, are they darkest when they first come out?
To tell the truth I am kind of looking forward to fall and some cooler weather, truth be told. Past two trips I was soaked when I got home.
Some plants with Insects
Finally a plant without a bug. If you take the stalk away, this could easily be some kind of dragon.
