CONSERVATION.  EDUCATION.  COMMUNITY.

Ornate Box Turtles that hatched last summer.

I left home for today’s Birdwalk at Kent P in the sun. Wore my sunglasses and pulled the visor down. As I pulled into the CEC lot, raindrops appeared on my windshield. Followed by heavier rain and lightning. At least 3 people stopped by to tell me they were going home. I knew EM was coming. He even bought a poncho on the way over. {NOTE TO SELF: Put pancho in car}.

It was still raining and thundering at 8:15 and woods was very dark. Trip canceled.

It was my plan to get to the park early and take some photos. I did take a couple.

It is nice t see how well the baby Ornate box turtles are doing. The Wild Roses are from the HQ building.

Wild Roses planted at Entrance to the JCCB HQ.
